Pushed to the limits of joy or grief, we acknowledge that we need to recognize God's generous love—or we need to accept God's help for hope and healing. "Such times can be conversion times," writes Father Dunning. He defines "conversion" as "the ongoing response of our whole person turning in faith and love to the God who loves us." Explores that response as birth, as dying-rising, as mirrored in the RCIA and as "afterthought" (the realization that God saves, grace saves—not morality and law). Conversion leads us to do the truth God which reveals, to celebrate that truth with other believers and to share that truth with others.
