All of us carry out images or mental pictures of God. If images do not grow as we grow, we will be trying to develop an adult faith on a fragile base. When we lose baby teeth, we soon realize that adult teeth will follow. If life experiences challenge our childhood images of God, we may not realize that Scripture and the faith community offer many other images of God.
