An exciting new book series that offers a new and innovative approach to catechesis meeting the specific needs of today's Church. God Is Calling is rooted in story. These wonderfully illustrated and contemporary books bring families together by allowing adults and children to read and share activities and thoughts about the same stories. The illustrations are colorful and contemporary while the stories are treasures from the Hebrew Scriptures, New Testament and the journeys of modern saints and believers.

God Is Calling can be used in intergenerational family catechesis, children's catechumenate, and ?catch-up? catechesis. This new program provides a three-year cycle and detailed information about four optional family retreats.

The series offers three sets of beautifully illustrated storybooks, Yahweh Calls, Jesus Lives and Spirit With Us, written on two different age levels, one for young children, ages 7 to 10, the other for older children, ages 11 to 14. Each of the six storybooks has a corresponding activity book called Together Time to be completed with the parent. The activity books allow families with children in different age groups to read the same story, develop the same theme, work together on the same concept and close with the same ritual.
